I am pleased to be donating a custom charcoal portrait drawing to the annual Grand Cru Wine Festival taking place in Toronto in October of 2009.

I am pleased to be participating in the Junction Arts Festival 2009, an annual festival in one the city's historic areas. The Festival runs from September 9 - 13 and is centred at 2960 Dundas Street West. You may access more information by visiting www.livewithculture.ca, or www.junctionartsfest.com. I will be exhibiting my most recent pieces in a group show held at the Academy of Realist Art, located at 2968 Dundas Street West (northeast corner of Pacific Avenue and Dundas, one block east of High Park Avenue). I hope you enjoy it, it is always a vibrant event.

I was accepted as a member of the OPA (Oil Painters of America), an organization which promotes "renewed understanding and appreciation of representational art".

My still life painting "Teatime" was selected as one of 100 semifinalist pieces in the prestigious Art Renewal Center 2008/2009 Salon. This competition had over 1600 entries from 30 countries.
